Are you ready for 2017?
I know I am ready for it. The last few weeks I spent reflecting on how I lived 2016 and what I will change this year. To begin with 2017 I decided to take a step back and reflect on where I am in my life and what I want to do in the near future. This year I decided to do something differently. Instead of setting any specific goals for 2017 and breaking them like many before. I’m simply going to concentrate my efforts and just live.
Every year I like many people set a goal. Each year some excuse occurs where the goal changes or just gets thrown away. If I wanted to change my goal failures and achieve them instead, I would have to make sure my goal was achievable and more practical. Every morning I would have to read my goal and ensure I kept to a routine. Much like work I never could stick to just one routine, I need variety in my life. So instead I will work on my word for 2017 and live. I have very few regrets or hesitations about how I have reached a transitional chapter of my life. I know where I want to be and the direction I’m going, though sometimes I have to remind myself to build a foundation for this new life.
This next year is going to be more about being ME and finding out more about myself. This is why I chose my word for 2017: Live. Live is my focus and I love the idea of having a theme for the year. How I live and the choices I make will surly define my outcome and my purpose this year.
Have you heard of Ali’s Guidance? I have found this very useful this year, as well as my own little craft projects. I am looking forward to the year of the word live. I’ve been thinking about this word since September of last year. In 2016 I realised that you need to have large portion of enthusiasm and decided that will be the base line of my foundation. This is my superpower that will allow me to live a better life. This years word means a few different things and may mean something different for you. I want to figure out what I am really good at and what I can offer the world. Taking a new and improved enthusiastic look at life I will share my conscientious approach to things and help others build hope for their future.
I will try to reflect back to the people in my life, their own value and worth. I am a conscientious friend and cant help smiling, its in my nature. I can’t help it, especially when others are happy to. I want to be a beacon for what is possible and share it with others. It can be difficult to find hope sometimes, I get it life happens. That is not the best way to live and will not make you happy. I want to give hope to people who may have gone through similar things like me, or who are struggling with bringing peace to their minds, and want to ultimately live free and be happy.
My intention is to hold tightly on to the word live all year round. With this word you can become successful and live your dreams. I am very much looking forward to this years outcome. Though this year has only just begun, I haven’t the slightest idea what my life will look like at the end of it. This word is for making sure I’m staying on course, even without a specific goal.
